Libraries
Our libraries provide you with a range of high-quality print and digital information resources which were selected to support your learning. Library staff can also help you to build your information skills: how to access, select and use information and how to acknowledge it.
Print resources can be borrowed from our libraries with a current student identification card. Library e-resources are automatically accessible when you are logged onto a computer at one of our campuses, however if you are off campus, you can still access our e-resources by using your institutional email address and password.

Learning Support Services
Here at Whitireia and WelTec we try and make your study journey as easy as possible. We have a range of support services brought to you by our learning and engagement advisors.
Academic Support
Our Learning Advisors work with you to make sure you’re doing your best work at Whitireia and WelTec. You can meet with them 1-1, in groups, via email or attend workshops on different topics to help you succeed.
The Learning Advisor team are here to help you with all of your academic support needs. Check out all the different things we can support you with.
Personal Education Plan
We help prepare our students for a successful study with a personal education plan that we tailor to each student’s needs.
Engagement Advisors
Our engagement advisors work with you to help break down any barriers in completing your study. They can help keep you focussed and make the most of the support available to you during your study here at Whitireia and WelTec.
Helpdesks
Our Student Helpdesks are available to answer any of your questions across all campuses. The Student Helpdesks can direct you to places on campus, make appointments for you, issue library resources for you to use, and help you with your computing issues.
They are also a point of contact with the wider support services team. Don’t know who to ask? Start with the Student Helpdesks!
